The connector reads new top-level YouTube comments from configured channels and creates Freshdesk tickets with readable timestamps, author details, comment text, video title, and a direct comment link.
Tickets follow normal Freshdesk routing, tags, requester mapping, priority, and group assignment rules, so agents can manage YouTube conversations without a separate queue.
The app uses a publisher-owned Google OAuth client. Customers connect their channel during installation, and public Freshdesk replies can be posted back to YouTube through the authorized account.
Privacy and OAuth readiness
The public site includes the privacy and terms pages needed for Google OAuth review, while the app keeps setup simple for marketplace customers.
