Overview

Falcon SaaS builds Freshworks Marketplace apps and SaaS integrations. This policy explains how we handle information for our website and for apps including YouTube Comments for Freshdesk.

Information our apps access

For YouTube Comments for Freshdesk, the app may access YouTube comment threads, comment author display information, comment timestamps, like and reply counts, video identifiers, and video metadata such as video title. The app may also post a YouTube reply when an authorized Freshdesk agent sends a public reply from an imported ticket.

The app also uses Freshdesk configuration and ticket information needed to create tickets, route them to configured groups, display sidebar context, and maintain reply sync state.

How information is used

We use accessed data only to provide the app functionality requested by the installing customer: importing YouTube comments into Freshdesk, showing relevant ticket context, and syncing authorized Freshdesk replies back to YouTube.

Storage and retention

App settings, OAuth tokens, ticket mappings, comment metadata, and sync state may be stored by the Freshworks platform or app storage services used by the app. Data is retained while the app is installed and needed for operational continuity. Customers can uninstall the app to stop future access and processing.

Sharing and advertising

We do not sell Google user data, YouTube data, Freshdesk data, or customer data. We do not use this data for advertising. We do not transfer this data to third parties except as necessary to operate the app through Google, Freshworks, and hosting infrastructure used to deliver the service.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Security

We design our apps to use secure OAuth flows, platform-managed secrets, scoped API access, and limited storage of operational metadata. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the nature of the service.
